Where can I buy custom whiteboards?

Nowadays, there are a large variety of places for you to buy a custom whiteboard.  While the sources to buy seem prevalent, the quality and price of these boards are going to vary greatly.  

When it comes to whiteboard quality and price, the old adage “You get what you pay for” rings true.

If you are simply looking for a cheap lightweight small whiteboard for home use, you may be happy with a number of those readily offered.  If you are looking for a larger custom whiteboard and want it to last for years, you should plan to make the purchase more of an investment in quality.  This is not the time to just buy it on Amazon, or a similar online retailer or big box store,  as they do not sell the highest quality whiteboards. 

There are several things you can look for when trying to figure out if a custom whiteboard is of high quality.  The easiest feature to look for is if the whiteboard is magnetic.  The higher quality whiteboards will be magnetic whiteboards because they use a sheet of durable steel in the surface construction.  Magnetic Concepts only carries high-quality Polymer Fusion steel whiteboards.  Cheaper, non-magnetic-receptive whiteboards, generally made of melamine (the old kitchen counter material), are prone to ghosting and cleaning problems. 

Other things you can look for to decide which whiteboard company to buy from are how long the company has been selling whiteboards, where the whiteboards are coming from, and if the company is the manufacturer or simply reselling.
